OEM Customization Process for Rough Terrain Forklifts

Preliminary: Customer / Partner Requirements
- Customer contacts Changjian Heavy Industry and submits project intent
- Customers provide forklift technical specifications, configuration requirements and estimated production volumes
Stage 1: Developing Design & Specifications
- Our R&D and engineering teams hold internal meetings to analyse customer requirements and technical indexes
- Online conference (usually via SkypeZoom) is held between both parties to clarify design questions and technical details
- Our team generates 2D & 3D CAD drawings, or customers provide their existing CAD files
- 2D 3D drawings are reviewed, revised and finally confirmed by customer’s R&D and engineering department
Stage 2: Prototype Fabrication
- We provide a formal quotation for prototype manufacturing
- After customer approval, appearance & component design documents are completed
- Design documents are reviewed and revised according to customer feedback until full confirmation
- Prototype rough‑terrain forklift is manufactured and fully tested inside our factory; test reports are submitted to customers for evaluation and modification suggestions
Stage 3: Pre‑Production Phase - Customer reviews and tests the prototype, submits modification requirements
- CAD drawings and design documents are updated accordingly for customer review & approval
- Pre‑production units are manufactured, tested and jointly audited by both sides. Final adjustments will be implemented if needed
- Customer approves the final version and places the first official order
Stage 4: Full Mass Production
- Complete production planning and issue SOP standard operating procedures
- Strict quality inspection during full‑scale production, customer service follow‑up and continuous product improvement
